The peregrinations of the last few days have presented several photographic opportunities which seemed to have plenty of potential at the time. Because none came to the fore when it was time to compose this contribution I thought I’d post a few of the resulting images as a gallery. As I made my way back down the mountain on Saturday I noticed a set of footprints across the frozen surface of the upper pond, I thought they presented well in black and white. Next I include yet another sunrise because of the appeal and coloration of the clouds. The cairn reflects my continuing ascent of the learning curve represented by their construction. And, the final image of treetops was taken in our back pasture two nights ago by the illuminating, and waxing, gibbous moon.
