We were delighted to visit with friends from Australia over the weekend. He is professor emeritus and she is an artist. In particular J paints land and seascapes – stunning. The four of us spent the majority of our time together taking in local color. J is also an accomplished photographer and was anxious to capture as many Pennsylvania landscapes as time would allow. This view to the northeast along Pine Creek was one she was particularly keen to record. Unfortunately the light was harsh when we visited this vantage on Saturday. Today however the sun was low in the west and cast a softer, warmer, light. I visited late in the day and a gentler breeze made for better reflections. This is for you, J.
