Day’s end

Today was spent turning the aftermath of the wind storm of two weeks ago into mulch with the aid of an industrial grade chipper. We had rain yesterday but the skies cleared last evening (the sunset was another of those that lent itself to the panoramic function of the Sony HX9V) and dry conditions prevailed for the day’s work. Our strategy was to Divide and Conquer, Joanna canned tomatoes while I mulched brush. Never any rest for the (very) weary … the weather looks to be good for a second-cut hay harvest sometime next week.
