Poultry barn

We took an hour away from the farm today to explore the southern slopes of the Nippenose Valley. We thought maybe the Amish might be making hay with genuine horse power – but, no, perhaps it was too hot. On our way home we passed an aging poultry barn that booth of us have admired for as long as we’ve been traveling the back roads. What a lovely structure. Close your eyes and imagine what it used to look like when it was in full production. Imagine what it used to sound like!
