When 6 ÷ 4 = 2

New Math predicts that 6 ÷ 4 = 2 when the four little legs belong to a newborn lamb and the two big ones are Mom’s front legs. Ewes are very protective of their newborns and do all that they can to get between the little ones and anything that threatens (including farmers with cameras). Polly gave birth to a ewe lamb early this morning. Lambing season has begun exactly one week later than predicted.

  1. Everything is happening really early this year and for some reason it worries me, but a warm lambing season is definitely an advantage…no frostbitten little ears!
